Nik is a London and New York-based multi-platform creative who has worked with major design houses from LVMH to Jean Paul Gaultier and Marc Jacobs to Karl Lagerfeld; he has led creative design projects with Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy and produced fashion films featured on Andy Warhol’s Interview Magazine and Rankin’s The Hunger and much more.
Holding close relationships with powerful influencers across fashion, music, art and design globally from London to New York and Milan to Paris, Nik is also a columnist for The Huffington Post and the voice behind globally recognised pop culture and fashion site KARLISMYUNKLE.COM – featured and recommended by Dolce & Gabbana, Louis Vuitton, Jean Paul Gaultier, VICE magazine, NOWNESS and GQ amongst others.
As a style and cultural influencer, Nik has been the face of various high profile fashion brands, featured in music videos, has co-curated design-art projects and exhibitions, guest-edited style magazines, DJs at high profile venues and has been a judge for both the eponymous Global Fashion Awards and Fashion Journalism Awards.
In June 2013, Nik partnered with established womenswear designer Ada Zanditon to co-create luxury dark matter menswear brand Ada + Nik launching at London Collection: Men; Brought together by an admiration for similar creative inspiration. Ada + Nik entered the world via a global announcement on WWD, and then shortly after the initial launch was heralded in publications from GQ to the BBC News and leading fashion blogs to style magazine it is described by the Evening Standard as “the most refreshing new menswear line to emerge in recent years” and retails globally.
He starred in his first major TV show on Fashion One (Sky) in 2013, where he was one of three judges on a panel searching for the next big fashion television presenter. This has lead to commentating on the Oscars for Sky News, BBC World News regularly and presenting for major fashion brands at London Fashion Week.
